Rajat Gupta Former MD/CEO of McKinsey & Co.
Rajat is a Founding Partner and the Chairman of New Silk Route Partners.
Rajat recently retired from his position as the Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company, the world's pre-eminent management consulting firm. Rajat is one of the world's leading experts on management consulting and the strategic and tactical initiatives which companies can employ. During Rajat's term as Managing Director (CEO Worldwide) of McKinsey, the firm enhanced its global footprint, increasing from 50 to 90 offices around the world. The firm grew from 2,500 to 7,500 professionals and increased revenue three fold. During his tenure, McKinsey established industry practices and functional practices including establishment of a business technology practice. Overall, McKinsey continued to enjoy and build upon its industry leadership position and enhanced its distinctiveness.
Rajat is very active in many non-profit institutions focused on education, health and development. He serves as the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advisor on UN Reform, and contributes to the work of a host of organizations including:

GV Prasad is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, a fully integrated global pharmaceutical company headquartered in India. He leads a team that is driven by Dr Reddy’s purpose of providing affordable and innovative medicines for healthier lives. This commitment is demonstrated through two parallel objectives: To bring affordable medicines as early as possible to the market so that they are readily accessible to people around the world; and to develop new solutions to medical problems that are unmet or not satisfactorily addressed.
Prasad has played a key role in the evolution of Dr. Reddy’s from a mid-sized pharmaceutical company into a globally respected pharma major. He built and nurtured several new lines of business, helped to build a high-talent organization, and was instrumental in introducing best-in-class practices in corporate governance. He is also a champion of sustainability thinking and has spearheaded efforts to reduce the company’s ecological footprint by embracing green technologies and processes.
Prasad’s personal mission is to create high performing organizations which can sustain and thrive through changing generations of people, products and technologies. He firmly believes that a strong human resource base is crucial for seamlessly integrating diverse businesses and cultures to perform as a cohesive business force. He has focused on transformation through people processes and has launched several initiatives in People practices, corporate governance, and corporate reporting which won the company several awards.

Gururaj Deshpande Co-founder and chairman of Sycamore Networks, Inc
Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande is the Chairman of Sparta Group LLC, A123 Systems (AONE), Sycamore Networks (SCMR), Tejas Networks, Sandstone Capital and HiveFire.
Prior to co-founding Sycamore Networks, Dr. Deshpande was founder and chairman of Cascade Communications Corp.
Dr. Deshpande serves as a member of the MIT Corporation, and his generous donations have made possible MIT's Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation.
Dr. Deshpande holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology - Madras, an M.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick in Canada, and Ph.D. in Data Communications from Queens University in Canada.
Desh and his wife, Jaishree, are involved in several non-profit initiatives that include support for MIT, IIT, TiE, Akshaya Patra Foundation, Public Health Foundation of India and the Social Entrepreneurship Sandbox in India.Top

Ambassador Arun Singh Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India, Washington D.C
Arun K. Singh joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1979, after completing his Masters Degree in Economics from Delhi University, and teaching at the University for two years.
His first assignment abroad was at the Embassy of India, Moscow from 1981-1982, where he learnt Russian. Later, he served at the Indian Missions in Addis Ababa as Second Secretary from 1982-1985, and in Tokyo as First Secretary from 1985 – 1988.
On returning to Delhi at the Headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, he served as Deputy Secretary / Director dealing with East Asia and Pakistan Divisions from 1988-1991. From 1991-1993, he headed the Offices of the Foreign Secretary and the External Affairs Minister of India.
Ambassador Singh served at the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations Office, New York from 1993-1997 as Counsellor and handled multilateral social and economic negotiations. He served in the Indian Mission at Moscow again as Counsellor / Minister from 1997-2000.
During his assignment in Delhi from 2000-2005, he served in the capacity of Joint Secretary dealing first with the United Nations Policy, and then Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran Divisions at the Ministry of External Affairs.
Ambassador Singh served as Ambassador of India to Israel from April 2005 to September, 2008. He assumed his new assignment as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India, Washington D.C on October 9, 2008.
Ambassador Singh speaks Russian and Japanese and has some knowledge of French and Hebrew.
He is married to Mrs. Maina Singh; they have one daughter.Top
