INDIAN
GIANTS – INDIAN FIRMS GOING GLOBAL
Indian businesses are expanding globally at a growing rate. This panel will focus on opportunities and challenges these globalizing companies are facing, and what the surge of these new Indian multinationals means for the global economy. Most critically, this panel seeks to answer the following questions:
How are the business models adopted by Indian companies allowing them to expand globally while still fending foreign competitors domestically? Is the global strategy different from the domestic strategy?
How are Indian companies tapping into the global capital markets to finance domestic growth and global acquisitions?
How are Indian companies that are expanding globally creating an international management team? How are these corporate houses convincing non-Indian and Indian graduates from the top Business Schools (Harvard, Wharton, Insead) to join their senior management?
